We’re here at @thevegan.market! Scott is serving up a Chipotle Tofu Benedict with @bartlebysfood Canadian seitan “bacon” and Steve is making Tempeh Shawarma. Come and get some for you and your mom! 🌱✨ Is everyone excited for @thevegan.market this Sunday!? We’re super excited to be popping up there again and even more excited to announce that we are collaborating with @bartlebysfood! Scott of @motorheadoflettuce will be using Bartleby’s Canadian seitan “bacon” to make his Chipotle Tofu Benedict! ⁣ ⁣ Our second chef, Steve Instasi, will be making Tempeh Shawarma! ⁣ ⁣ Swipe to see the details for this Sunday’s Vegan Market 🤗🌱 We had so much fun at @usacfx2019 at MIT tonight! Scott of @motorheadoflettuce made eggplant wrapped king trumpet mushrooms (thanks @foragedandfoundedibles) with onion jam and, for something sweet, chocolate banana avocado pudding topped with peanuts. Thank you to @bostonorganics for the amazing produce! 🍆🥑🍌 We’re so excited to be popping up at @thevegan.market once again on May 12th (Mother’s Day)!⁣ ⁣ Our featured MCs will be Scott of @motorheadoflettuce serving Chipotle Tofu Benedict and introducing Steve serving Tempeh Shawarma!⁣ ⁣ A bit about Steve: “I have worked in the food industry for 10+ years as a dishwasher, line cook, prep cook and shift lead. I currently work at Life Alive Cambridge as a kitchen supervisor where I am able to explore mostly raw cooking using fresh, organic and often locally sourced produce.”⁣ ⁣ And learn a little more about Scott: “I’ve been cooking professionally since 2009, and have been focusing on vegan food since 2011, when I became vegan myself. It became clear to me that I enjoyed cooking while working for Boston University Dining Services, and I’ve been seeking to build upon my culinary experiences nonstop since. Some notable experiences took place at The Pulse Cafe, Peace o’ Pie, Veggie Galaxy, Life Alive, and NU Kitchen. Outside of the restaurant industry, I also cook in peoples’ homes as a personal chef, as well as do pop-ups around Boston.”⁣ ⁣ There are going to be so many great vendors at this market.
